    Cold weather and lots of rain have made fishing conditions fantastic. Come along and have fun. Stock size, on both waters, is well up this winter. It will be a "Doubles Bonanza" on Lechlade this year, with Browns up to 20 pounds plus! They are already coming out and there are plenty more to come.

    A cracking days fishing yesterday at lechlade trout fishery. Caught a couple over 10lbs. Saw a guy from a boat in front of the owner's house land a 15lb rainbow.

    Hi Bill - Was the water still clouded a dark blue? I was there a few weeks back and the clarity of the water was very poor. They are using some sort of vegetable dye to control the blanket weed.

    Had a great days fishing at Lechlade at the weekend - 3 caught over 10lbs despite the blue dye clouding the water, much to the annoyance of other anglers.

    Planning a trip to Lechlade Trout Fishery in the next couple of weeks - some huge browns coming out around 20lbs. Have read that there are fish exceeding 30lbs in the lake!! tight lines!

    I have fished lechlade also and think it a very well run fishery , The staff always pleasant and very helpfull ,the price i think fair as the the trout are high quality in weight, condition, and reel screaming ability . An old saying goes a bad days fishing is better than a good day at work ,I would recommend a day out here to anyone wanting to catch bigger trout, in all a very nice place to be.

    Good venue. There are two main lakes Bushyleaze and Lechlade itself. Lechlade is the more expensive specimen lake. A full days fishing here will set you back £55. Not very credit crunch friendly!

    I've fished at Lechlade Trout Fishery many times over the past year and I'm looking forward to catching some very large trout this coming year. Great trout fishery!!!
