  I am a fairly regular fisher at Milton Pools and have always had a pretty good day focussed mainly on reasonable roach and bream fishing. I have seen quite a few sizable carp and watched a bloke put together a large bag, almost fish a chuck to pellet waggler, on the Match lake - far too much effort for me!
  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - TOILETS AND WASH FACILITIES ARE WELL SERVICED - INCREASINGLY IMPORTANTANT TO ONE OF MY ADVANCED YEARS... tackle shop has a good selection of baits and basics.... sandwich van comes around at about 11:00 hrs daily. Café not often open - may be more available in summer.
  Trolleys to move your gear (some carp fishers seem to bring whole van loads of kit...) are available by the car park.
  A good venue with friendly people running it who take care that their fish are not abused.
