I am a new member of this club. I am disabled and i find the club has made adequate provision to fish my local water[ fishing from adapted pegs]. However, i find myself distanced from having an input into how the water can be best managed. Along with fellow anglers i find a once a year meeting[AGM] not enough time to bring concerns regarding poaching,appropriate stocking, and water management issues to the attention of a distanced relationship between members and the management commitee. I feel a quarterly club meeting would be benificial all round.Written comunication by way of a twice yearly newsletter would be welcomed by the membership.By the membership having a greater say on the running of the club would, i feel, make the waters be first choice to fish, as opposed to second or third.
